Shining Waters Family Fun Park is a water park located in Cavendish, PEI and connected to Jellystone PEI through a walkway!
Explore 36 acres of family fun including over 40 wet and dry attractions. For a start, try the Surf's Up surf coaster, or the Buccaneer Bay Bullet rollercoaster! Afterwards, take the plunge down one of our four large waterslides or splash around in Turtle Cove, our splash pool with three junior waterslides. A limited number of season passes will be available, but purchase early before they sell out.
Sandspit is PEI's classic amusement park with more than 15 carnival favourites for all ages. If you are a thrill seeker, ride the Cyclone roller coaster, the longest roller coaster in Atlantic Canada, or try the 70-foot-high Ferris wheel. And if you are feeling brave, strap into the Cliffhanger. Or, for more family fun, cool off on the bumper-boats. Then, take a swing on our miniature golf course. Try your hand at one of our old-fashioned games or enjoy a tasty carnival treat. A limited number of season passes are also available but purchase them now before they sell out.
Just a short distance away from Jellystone Park™ Cavendish! Putt through the potato patch, play to the top of the Volcano and then over the “Musical” bridge. The course even places you in peril of being eaten by a giant lobster. PEI's most innovative mini golf!
Located at Mariner's Cove Boardwalk and connected to Jellystone Park™ Cavendish! Welcome to the fun and excitement of old-time mining! Pan for emeralds, rubies, gemstones and fossils in our mining sluice. Is that a crystal point you just found? Keep mining, and you may discover an arrowhead. It's educational and fun for little miners, moms, dads, grandparents and friends. Great for school or group outings. Now, let's get mining. Take home all your found treasures!

The Amazing Maze offers a fun and exciting challenge for the whole family. Navigate your way through the almost five-thousand square feet of pathways. Built to keep you on your toes, this Amazing Maze features 4 checkpoints and a tall central platform. Compete against friends, family and even yourself!A fun time for any family, this outdoor maze is a great way to stay entertained and work on problem solving. The Hangar Laser Tag Arena is a 2500-square foot airplane hangar where you must outlast your opponents using the latest in laser tag technology. Once you are strapped into your special vest, equipped with your state-of-the-art laser, and briefed with your mission, you are released into The Hangar. The arena is black-lit, foggy and fraught with opponents, so navigate carefully. To win the round, target your opponents and stay out of their line of fire. The scoreboard will reveal the results at the end of the round.

Open from July, 2nd to September, 15th "Papa's Gem" and "Lexi D" are government-approved boats with washroom facilities aboard. Enjoy complimentary coffee on morning trip. Rods and rain gear are supplied at no extra charge. Fish are filleted and ice is supplied. Canteen services are available. Live and cooked lobster and fresh seafood are available daily at our fish market on the premises. They have been in business since 1957. Interac, MC, V accepted. Daily sailings: 8 am, 1:15 pm and 6 pm (5:30 pm after Aug 20). Deep-sea: $40 adults, $30 children (12 and under).

Built in the mid-1800s, this house belonged to cousins of Lucy Maud Montgomery's grandfather. Their farm inspired the setting for her first novel Anne of Green Gables. This House has been refurbished to portray the 1890s setting described in the novel. On the grounds, the Balsam Hollow and Haunted Woods trails feature some of Montgomery's favourite woodland haunts including Lovers Lane. Open May 3 to November 1 daily.
Lucy Maud Montgomery was born in 1874 in this modest white and green home overlooking New London Harbour. The interior is decorated with authentic Victorian period pieces, providing an appropriate setting for the memorabilia on display. Among the special exhibits are the writer's wedding dress and her personal scrap-books containing copies of her many stories and poems. Open May 23 through Thanksgiving.

Cavendish Beach Adventure Zone is a family fun center with six attractions, including laser tag, indoor and outdoor mini golf and a haunted house in Cavendish, PEI. The Hangar Laser Tag Arena is heart-pumping fun in a converted airplane hangar and has tons of game options. The Route 6 Motel is a haunted house that we dare you to try—one warning, though: don't sleep here. If mini golf is more your style, try the River of Adventure Miniature Golf with its selection of unique and challenging holes, or Black Magic Black Light Mini Golf for some indoor family glow-y fun!
Check-in for all rentals accommodations (Trailers, Cottages, and Cabins) is at 3 pm. All other sites may check in at 2 pm.
Early check-in is not guaranteed and dependent on availability. Fees apply.
Late Check in is available and can be arranged in advance with the office.
Check-out for all sites, including accommodations at 11am.
There is no late check out option. If you are still on site past check out time you will be charged $20 hourly up to the cost of the additional day.
During our off-season, the Ranger Station is open from 8 am – 6 pm daily.
During our busy-season, the Ranger Station is open from 8 am -10 pm daily.
Entrance to the park is restricted to registered guests only. Visitors are required to check in at the office, and must be registered by the site holder, pay the day fee, and obtain a parking pass for our main parking lot. Pets are not allowed for visitors. We retain the right to regulate the number of people visiting a site. Day visitors must vacate the premises by 10:00 pm (9 pm during Special events). Prior to inviting any visitors, kindly consult the office. Registered guests are accountable for ensuring their visitors are appropriately registered and adhere to all campground rules.
Many visitors enjoy sharing the pleasures of camping with their dogs or cats. To ensure that all guests have a safe and enjoyable experience, please ensure your pet remains on a leash at all times in the park. Pets are welcome in our Dog Park where they can run and play off leash.
If you need to cancel your reservation, please call 902-963-2079 before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund minus the cancellation fee of $20. Email notifications of cancellations are not acceptable.
For those renting our Cottages, Cabins or Trailers, please note that bedding and bathroom essentials (linens) are not provided and should be brought along with you.
Please be aware that Holidays and Special Events may have specific deposit and cancellation requirements. Special conditions could apply during high-demand periods and for special events.
For the period between July 9th and 14th, 2025, there is a mandatory 5-night minimum stay due to a special event. A deposit equal to the five-night minimum is obligatory. Cancellations during these dates are subject to a minimum service fee of $75.00. To be eligible for a refund, less the $75.00 cancellation fee, cancellations must be made by May 1, 2025. After May 1st, the entire deposit (full cost of reservation) will be retained.
For the period between September 13th & 14th 2025, there is a mandatory 2 night minimum due to a special event. Cancellations during these dates will incur a minimal service fee of $50.00. The deadline for cancellations to receive a refund, less the $50.00 cancellation fee, is June 15th, 2025. Subsequent to June 15th, the complete deposit (full cost of reservation) will be retained.
The $20 lock fee is also non-refundable.
To guarantee your campsite or rental accommodation, a deposit equal to your first night will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation. Special events are excluded.
A Site lock fee of $20 plus tax will also be applied to the initial deposit and is applicable for specific site requests or group requests to be together. This lock fee is nonrefundable.
Any remaining balance is due 30 days prior to check in and will be automatically charged. You may also use the link emailed in your reservation confirmation email to pay.
Any changes to reservations must be made prior to the cancellation deadlines. If changes are made prior to the cancellation deadline there is no fee. If changes are made to the dates within the cancellation deadline the deposit will be forfeited.
Kindly ensure you have your license plate(s) information available for registration.
Keep parking passes visible at all times.
Within the campground, all vehicles must adhere to a speed limit of 10 km/hr or less.
Standard regulations apply, including no alcohol consumption and no sitting in the backs of trucks.
Each camping site permits the parking of two vehicles.
Additional vehicles must be registered and parked in the primary parking area near the office, subject to space availability (fees may apply)
You may bring and drive your electric scooter/bike as long as you observe our 10km/hour speed limit and respect pedestrians.
Helmets must be worn according to law in Prince Edward Island.

Quiet hours are observed from 10 pm to 7 am, during which we kindly request guests to be considerate of their neighbors and others.
All communal areas of the campground close at 10 pm, and children should return to their sites under adult supervision.
No biking around the campground after dusk. At 11 pm, while you are welcome to maintain a campfire, we ask that noise levels be minimized.
If you need to enter or exit the campground during quiet hours, please be mindful of those in the vicinity and maintain a respectful noise level.
Access cards for the Entrance Gate are a requirement for campground stays and will be given at check-in. Two access cards max per site. Please return to the office when checking out.

DO NOT swipe in guests.
Campfires are permitted at each site, in the designated fire pit provided, weather permitting and in conjunction with provincial fire ban laws/regulations.
Wood is available for purchase at our Store.
Fires are to be properly extinguished and not exceed 12 am.
Absolutely no generator use is permitted.
Please use our designated charging stations for electric vehicles located in the main parking lot. Please DO NOT plug into site pedestals.
Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements.
Maintenance is happy to help. Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay.
Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.
Our newly renovated laundry facility is open 24/7.
Change and vending available at the office during business hours.
Please do not leave your laundry unattended. We are not responsible for accidents or theft.
Drones are not permitted in our park.
Please do not fly drones over people or RVs.
Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park.
The prohibiting of fireworks includes, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers.
The prohibiting of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns.
To avoid overcrowding of tenting sites, we have a 2 tent maximum per tent site (guest choice of sleeping tent(s) versus kitchen tent) as long as structures stay within the site limits.
No sleeping tents are permitted on Pull thru sites, 50 Amp back in sites, Premium Patio Sites, Cottages, Cabins & Rental Trailers. A kitchen tent is acceptable.
One tent is permitted on 30 amp 3-Way, Back-in sites (choice of tent).
Each site may have a maximum of 6 people /one family unit. Maximum of 4 adults per site. Additional fee(s) over 2 adults are applicable.
In Prince Edward Island, Waste Watch is a mandatory program for residents, visitors and businesses.
Trash cans are located throughout the park.
Please sort garbage/recyclables in clear bags only and place them in the appropriate receptacles/designated cans.
If you observe any concerning activities, please inform our staff (security in evening) or call (902) 963 2079, Ext 333, available 24 hours a day.
Security actively monitors the campground and is on duty overnight during the peak season.
In the event of a 911 call, please notify the office/security if time allows, so that staff can be ready to guide emergency personnel to your site.
Tenants and Guests are accountable for any damage or injuries caused by themselves, their children, and/or pets. Guests accept all associated risks and agree to hold the Landlord harmless from and indemnify against the same. The resort disclaims responsibility for personal injuries, as well as damage, loss, or theft of personal property or vehicles.
Pricing for all sites is based on the occupancy of 2 adults with up to 4 children. Additional costs are applicable for guests over and above and range according to age, and applicable festivals and events (CBMF & SOMMO).

Adherence to liquor laws requires that alcohol consumption is limited to your own campsite.
The use of cannabis is strictly prohibited in all public areas, including buildings, decks, pools, and inside our rental trailers, cottages and cabins. The only permissible location is within your personal camping equipment/site, provided it does not disrupt or interfere with the enjoyment or well-being of fellow campers.
The use of a private Golf Cart is prohibited.
